In this section of the site, we detail how the Athletics Integrity Unit Disciplinary Process works and provide details of all cases that have been dealt with under the jurisdiction of the Athletics Integrity Unit since its inception.

The Athletics Integrity Unit Disciplinary Process encompasses both doping and non-doping cases through either the IAAF Anti-Doping Rules or IAAF Integrity Code of Conduct respectively. Our jurisdiction relates to international level athletes and support persons, IAAF officials and member federation officials (in relation to their dealings with the IAAF). The Disciplinary Process has a flow of 5 possible stages:
Provisional Suspension In Force; Pending First Instance Cases; First Instance Decisions; Pending Appeal; Appeal Decision
Using this site, you will be able to understand the Disciplinary Process and track a case’s progress through each of the stages.
Note that case details will be removed from this section of the site when they are no longer operative – for example after a period of ineligibility has been served. For further details, please see the Athletics Integrity Unit policy on public disclosure of cases here.
